Bangchak Chairperson Receives 1 of 84 Honorary “The Creators” Award

Co-organized by Thammasat Business School and Thammasat University Commerce and Accountancy Alumni

Pichai Chunhavajira, Chairperson of the Board, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, was presented “The Creators” award as one of 84 honored Thammasat Business School alumni who are creators bringing the change, inspiring others, and playing a creative and contributive role in society. Recipients were selected by a qualified panel from Thammasat Business School, chaired and presented Dr. Hiran Radeesri, Adjunct Professor, at the Gala Dinner Talk & Honorary Awards “The Creators” on the occasion of the 84^th anniversary of the establishment of Thammasat Business School co-organized by Thammasat University Commerce and Accountancy Alumni and Thammasat Business School at The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok (Wireless Road).

Pichai assumed the chairpersonship of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited in 2012, and is also the Chairperson of the Board for BCPG Public Company Limited and BBGI Public Company Limited. A Bangchak benefactor who oversaw its transformation and development over a decade. His exemplary knowledge and skills in management, accounting and finance, as well as insight of corporate governance, corporate finance for businesses in Bangchak Group. He paved the way for Bangchak Group companies’ securities to be listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, leading the company to the global stage.

In addition to outstanding professional achievement, he has devoted himself to the sports industry, especially international boxing, being appointed to prominent positions, such as President of the Thailand Boxing Association, President of the Asian Boxing Confederation (ASBC), as well as Vice President, National Olympic Committee of Thailand Under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King, and President of the Sport and Environment Subcommittee.
