Bangchak Executive Joins “CEO Forum for Net Zero”: Move forward Challenges and Directions for Net Zero

Narupan Suthamkasem, Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Sustainability, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited participated in the “CEO Forum for Net Zero”: Move forward Challenges and Directions for Net Zero at the Thailand Research Expo 2023 organized by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) in collaboration with the Thailand Business Council for Sustainable Development (TBCSD) and Thailand Environment Institute (TEI) at Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre Central World. The forum was joined by Dr. Wiparat De-ong, Executive Director of the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), Dr. Wijarn Simachaya President of Thailand Environment Institute (TEI) and Secretary General of Thailand Business Council for Sustainable Development (TBCSD), and Chaiman of Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), Ninnart Chaithirapinyo, President of Hydrogen Thailand Club, Chatchai Luanpolcharoenchai, President of Dow Thailand Group, and Kattiya Indaravijaya, Chief Executive Officer of Kasikornbank.

The forum was organized to raise awareness among organizations in both the public and private sectors, as well as researchers about the significance of engaging in sustainable development initiatives across all dimensions. This includes highlighting the role of Thai businesses in fostering collaboration to tackle crucial environmental issues and contributing to the country’s sustainable development. Moreover, the forum aimed to elevate the standards of Thai businesses to exemplify Low Carbon and Sustainable Business practice.
