Bangchak Embarks on a New Era in the Realm of Refinery and Oil Trading Business with "A New Era Unfolds." Making their Asia Pacific Mark during APPEC 2023 Week in Singapore

The Refinery and Oil Trading Business Group of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited hosted the event "A New Era Unfolds," introducing the Refining and Oil Trading Business Group which stands at the forefront in the Asia-Pacific and seamlessly integrates with the supply chain. The Group is fostering relationships with customers, partners, business associates, and investors in the Asia-Pacific region. More than 250 participants attended the event at the Swissotel The Stamford Hotel in Singapore.

Chaiwat Kovavisarach, Group Chief Executive Officer and President of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, welcomed and delivered a special address with an introduction of Bangchak Group, which has expanded its business with diversity, balance, and adaptability to remain responsive to ever-changing challenges. Currently, Bangchak operates five main businesses: the Refinery and Oil Trading Business Group, Marketing Business Group, Power Business Group, Bio-Based Products Business Group, and Natural Resources Business Group. Furthermore, Bangchak is also engaged in New Frontier Businesses and the Bangchak Initiative and Innovation Center (BiiC).

Furthermore, he elaborated in particular on the Refinery and Oil Trading Business Group, showcasing its seamless integration within the supply chain through two world-class refineries: Bangchak Refinery Phra Khanong and Bangchak Refinery Sriracha, with a combined nameplate capacity of nearly 300,000 barrels per day. Additionally, BCP Trading Pte. Ltd., or BCPT, based in Singapore, has an expert team in the global market and conducts international oil trading business in over 20 countries, with over 100 contractual partnerships worldwide. BCPT is poised to become a sustainable supplier with ISCC certification. (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification).

Moreover, Bangchak has established Bangkok Fuel Pipeline and Logistics Company Limited (BFPL) to manage the domestic and international fuel transportation operations for road and maritime vehicles. It is further expanding oil storage facilities to cover the entire country and venturing into the pipeline and logistics fuel transportation business.

Bangchak is also strategically investing in Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), manufacturing aviation fuel from used cooking oil. This investment not only addresses global warming concerns but also contributes to the goal of achieving Net Zero emissions through the BSGF Company Limited.
