Bangchak Executive Delivers a Keynote Address at the 2023 Thailand – Taiwan Industrial Collaboration Summit (TTICoS)

Gloyta Nathalang, Executive Vice President, Corporate Branding, Communication and Sustainability Activation, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, took part as a keynote speaker on “Energizing a Greener World: A Bangchak Group Perspective” at the 2023 Thailand-Taiwan Industrial Collaboration Summit (TTICoS), organized by Taiwan’s Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI). The summit provided opportunities for the exchange of knowledge in potential industries including textile, food and biotechnology, smart city, and automation systems. Over 300 Thai and Taiwanese interested individuals, from public and private sectors, attended the event, which was held at the Sukosol Hotel.

The summit was organized under the concept of “Net Zero Emissions” and featured keynote speakers from research institutes and industrial sectors from Thailand and Taiwan. Gloyta shared Bangchak Group’s journey of sustainable growth and discussed the importance of balancing the Energy Trilemma while transitioning to clean energy. She highlighted decarbonization as a key to achieving the Group’s targets of Carbon Neutrality by 2030 and Net Zero GHG Emissions by 2050 with BCP 316 NET plan, which incorporates breakthrough performance, nature-based carbon sequestration, business transition towards clean energy, and creation of a Net Zero Ecosystem. This includes the establishment of Carbon Markets Club to promote carbon credit trading to accelerate energy transition. Through BCPG Plc., a Bangchak Group affiliate, the Group invests in solar power projects in Taiwan with an installed capacity of 469 MW currently under development.
