Bangchak Transforms “Esso” to “Bangchak” Service Stations. Reaffirming the Concept of “Your Greenovative Destination for Intergeneration”

Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited (“BCP”) has embarked on a transformation by changing the logo and signage of Esso service stations to "Bangchak”. This transformation is in line with the concept of delivering a Greenovative Experience through a network of approximately 2,200 service stations. Bangchak is committed to developing both the oil and non-oil businesses to make Bangchak service stations “Your Greenovative Destination for Intergeneration.” – a destination that caters to the needs of customers of all age groups.

Somchai Tejavanija, Chief Marketing Officer, Seri Anupantanan, Acting Senior Executive Vice President, Marketing Business Group, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, together with Bundit Hansapaiboon, Chief Executive Officer, Ratrimani Pasiphol, Managing Director, and Warakorn Kosolpisitkul, Senior Executive Vice President, Marketing Business, Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited witnessed the changing of the “Esso” logo to “Bangchak” logo at Kluaynamthai and Rama 4 service stations. This served as a significant symbol of change which comes after Bangchak acquired a majority stake in Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited on 31 August 2023.

Somchai stated, “From now on, consumers will have easier access to high quality Bangchak fuels through an expanded network. Bangchak is gradually changing the logos at all 280 company-owned “Esso” service stations to “Bangchak”, which is expected to be completed by year end as per our plan. The remaining 550 service stations, owned by dealers, will undergo a gradual change over the next two years.

Moreover, consumers are invited to experience two flagship service stations: Bangchak Kluaynamthai and Rama 4 service stations. These stations have been designed to offer a distinctive unique experience to customers, providing premium gasohol and diesel products exclusively, premium services, and other various non-oil offerings within the service station, including restaurants, cafes and car maintenance services. The Bangchak Kluaynamthai service station offers Hi Premium products exclusively, enhancing accessibility for consumers who are in search of high-quality fuel products.

Somchai stated that Bangchak had previously developed Hi Premium products that exceed the quality assurance standards required by law, including Premium Gasohol with an octane rating of over 97 and Premium Diesel with a cetane rating of up to 70, formulated based on the USA Formula. These fuels enhance engine performance, save fuel consumption, and provide long-term engine protection. They also meet Euro 5 standards, contributing to a cleaner environment. These two powerful attributes make Bangchak fuels a preferred choice for consumers. Presently, there are over 1,000 Bangchak service stations that offer Hi Premium products.
