Bangchak Presents Annual Scholarships to Youths from Neighboring Schools and Communities around Bangchak Phra Khanong Refinery, Fostering a Sustainable Society for the 19th Consecutive Year

Thamarat Paryoonsuk, Senior Executive Vice President, Refinery and Oil Trading Business Group, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, along with Bangchak executives, presented scholarships as part of the Bangchak Youth Scholarship 2023, which has been organized for the 19th consecutive year. The program provides educational opportunities to youths from communities around Bangchak Phra Khanong Refinery, and schools in Bangchak’s lunch program, ranging from elementary through to undergraduate levels. The program aims to support well-behaved, academically inclined, compassionate, and volunteer-minded youth and help alleviate the financial burden of their parents.

In 2023, Bangchak presented more than 800 scholarships for youths from schools and communities around Bangchak Phra Khanong Refinery as well as youths in the Bangchak Good-Hearted Youth Program, including young athletes from Bangchak’s youth football club from 32 schools and communities. In total, there were more than 800 scholarships, with a total value of approximately THB 4 million). School administrators, teachers, community committee, community leaders, and parents participated in the ceremony, which took place at Bangchak Head Office at M Tower.
