Bangchak Executive Shares Insights and Experiences on “The Road to Decarbonization” with “Stories of Siamese Assets” by the Stock Exchange of Thailand

Recently, Gloyta Nathalang, Executive Vice President, Corporate Branding, Communication and Sustainability Activation, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, accepted an invitation to be a speaker for an online panel discussion “Stories of Siamese Assets - The Road to Decarbonization” with Pavich Kasavawong, Deputy Director General, Department of Climate Change and Environment, organized by Investory - Investment Discovery Museum, the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The special aimed to provide the general public with knowledge about greenhouse gas emissions from the business sector and their impact on society and highlighted the role of economic stakeholders in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, as well as ways to achieve a low-carbon society in Thailand. Gloyta shared valuable insights and knowledge from Bangchak Group businesses, which have adapted for the transition to a low-carbon society through business transformations, and the implementation of various practical measures. Bangchak has targeted carbon neutrality by 2030, and NET Zero GHG emissions by 2050. These measures also include raising awareness, knowledge, and understanding that will enable all sectors to begin to adapt to a low-carbon society. These measures are aligned with Thailand’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 and Net Zero GHG emissions by 2065.
