Bangchak Children’s Day 2024 Promotes the Concept “Regenerative Power of Thai Children” Fostering Youth Empowerment, Igniting Passion for Environmental Conservation
Chokchai Atsawarangsalit, Senior Executive Vice President, Corporate Management and Organization Development, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, along with Lieutenant Commander Attapong Pichayaporn, Deputy Director-General, Defence Science and Technology Department, Saitip Sukhonthamanee, Director of Phra Khanong District, Prapassorn Jumnongbudra, Director of Bang Na District, and Bangchak Corporation executives and government agencies in the neighborhood jointly kicked off “Bangchak Children’s Day 2024” under the concept “Regenerative Power of Thai Children” at Bangchak Phra Khanong Refinery. The event featured various activities to promote learning and empowerment. The event highlight was the Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) interactive exhibition which featured one of Bangchak’s missions aligning with the global direction to mitigate the global warming crisis which allowed children to learn through sensory engagement. Moreover, there were various activities that promote environmental practices in daily life to create a better world, learn, care for the environment, and consume resources responsibly. These activities include reusing to maximize benefits, proper waste sorting and disposal to inspire children’s awareness, participation, and discussion of the power of environmental conservation. Safety first activities taught children about fire prevention by allowing children to take on the role of firefighters. Additionally, the event hosted various performances, including mini concerts from the Dek Show Ded Festival project, a magic show from Super 10, a smart bird show, games, prizes, and numerous food and beverages that transformed Bangchak into a land of happiness for children on Children’s Day. The event welcomed approximately 4,100 people including parents, children, the neighbors of Bangchak Phra Khanong Refinery, and the general public.
Bangchak Corporation has actively organized activities to promote happiness and contribute to the development of children and youth. The company has been organizing the Bangchak Children’s Day event since 1988.
