Bangchak Awarded Thailand MICE Venue Standard Seal at MICE Standard Day 2024

Suwat Meemook, Executive Vice President, Digital Organization, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, received the Seal of Thailand MICE Venue Standard (TMVS) from Dr. Atchaka Sibunruang, Chairman of the Board, Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (Public Organization): TCEB at the MICE Standard Day 2024 event. Bangchak was one of ten private organizations (not including hotels) that qualified for the TMVS certification category Meeting Room. The recipients had implemented MICE Venue Standards in the sustainable management of their respective venues, encompassing the physical aspects of meeting rooms and surrounding areas, various building infrastructure (technology, equipment, and lighting), and related management practices. This also includes services and staff service readiness.

Bangchak has been certified and presented the Seal of Thailand MICE Venue Standard since 2017. It has since undergone quality assessments and certification every three years, with the most recent evaluation conducted in 2023, covering the certification period from 2024 – 2026.

In 2023, Bangchak serviced a total of 2,345 meetings (Bai Mai Meeting Rooms 1-3, Punsuk Meeting Rooms 1-2) for employees and visitors. Bangchak has maintained standards and continuously improved the quality of meeting room services, positioning itself as a High Value-Added Destination. This aligns with the government’s approach to developing venue standards to promote Thailand as a High Value-Added MICE Destination, elevating the professionalism of services, and enabling Thailand to compete in the global market.
