Bangchak Group Receives ISCC EU and ISCC CORSIA Certifications for the Entire Sustainable Fuel Supply Chain

Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited and Bangchak Group subsidiaries BCPT Company Limited and BSGF Company Limited received the International Sustainability & Carbon Certification or ISCC for the entire sustainable fuel supply chain. Thamarat Paryoonsuk, Senior Executive Vice President, Refinery and Oil Trading Business Group, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, Ongorn Pleanrungsi, Executive Vice President, Refinery and Oil Trading Business Group, as President of BCP Trading Pte. Ltd., and Nipon Lerttassanee, Executive Vice President, Project Management, Engineering and Logistics Business, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, as Director of BSGF Company Limited, received the International Sustainability & Carbon Certification or ISCC from Terachai Yaoprukchai, Certification Manager, SGS (Thailand) Company Limited, the certifying body for the ISCC at Bangchak Phra Khanong Refinery.

Bangchak Group’s ISCC EU and ISCC CORSIA certifications for the entire sustainable fuel supply chain, including bio-naphtha and SAF, signify the Group’s readiness for producing and distributing sustainable fuels, supporting the energy transition towards a low-carbon society.

The ISCC EU is a standard recognized by the European Union for certifying sustainable fuel for biomass supply chains, in line with EU Renewable Energy Directive (RED) () and recognized by the European Commission. The ISCC CORSIA is a standard that certifies sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) meeting the criteria of the Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA) throughout the supply chain. It is recognized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) as a means to indicate SAF usage.
