Bangchak – BSGF Join Thai Environmental Health Day 2024 Promoting the “Fry to Fly” and “No Refry” Campaigns for Healthy Thais

Nipon Lerttassanee, Executive Vice President, Project Management, Engineering and Logistics Business, Refinery and Oil Trading Business Group, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, joined the Thai Environmental Health Day 2024 event “One Decade of Environmental Health Day: Healthy Environment for Healthier Living.” The 4th of July of every year is designated as Thai Environmental Health Day (coinciding with the birthday of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn, who graciously granted permission for the day to be observed as Thai Environmental Health Day). The event was organized by the Department of Health, Ministry of Public Health, with Santi Promphat, the Minster of Public Health, presiding over the opening ceremony at the Department of Health.

At the event, Bangchak and BSGF Company Limited, a Bangchak Group affiliate, jointly organized an exhibition booth showcasing environmental and health operations through the “Fry to Fly” and “No Refry” campaigns. The campaigns encourage the public not to reuse cooking oil and instead enter it into the initiative as feedstock for SAF production. Santi Promphat visited the booth, where Nipon welcomed and provided a tour of the exhibition, explaining the back and latest figures of the used cooking oil collection for SAF production.
