Bangchak Group Organizes Kathina Ceremonies at Metta Buddharam Temple and Mahabodhi Temple, Bodh Gaya, Republic of India
On 2 and 3 November 2024, Mr. Chaiwat Kovavisarach, Group Chief Executive Officer and President, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, led the board of directors, executives, employees, and devoted participants to attend the Kathina robe offering ceremony at the chapel of the Metta Buddharam Temple and the 700-monk international Kathina robe offering ceremony at Mahabodhi Temple beneath the Bodhi tree in Bodh Gaya, Bihar, Republic of India. The occasion marked the occasion of Bangchak’s 40th anniversary as it enters its fifth decade. Notable attendees included Mr. Preecha Laohapngchana, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Prisana Praharnkhasuk, Director of Bangchak Corporation PLC, General Warakiat Rattanont and Miss Khaisri Utaiwan, Directors of Bangchak Sriracha PLC, Mr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Director General, The Excise Department, and Miss Siriporn Tantipanyathep, Consul-General of Thailand in Kolkata, with special flight arrangements supported by Thai Air Asia.
