Bangchak Joins Forces with KMITL, CKML University, and King Mongkut’s Hospital Foundation Unite to Create Medical Innovations, Advancing Health and Sustainability

Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited (Bangchak) signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in medical innovation with the King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) (Faculty of Medicine, King Mongkut Chaokhunthahan Hospital), CMKL University, and King Mongkut’s Hospital Foundation in the Patriarch's Patronage. The memorandum was signed by Mr. Chaiwat Kovavisarach, Group Chief Executive Officer and President, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, Professor Dr. Anan Srikiatkhachorn, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, KMITL, Professor Suchatvee Suwansawat, President, King Mongkut’s Hospital Foundation in the Patriarch’s Patronage, Associate Professor Dr. Supan Tungjitkusolmun, President, CMKL University, Assistant Professor Dr. Somsak Walairacht, Deputy Director, King Mongkut’s Chaokhunthahan Hospital (on behalf of Associate Professor Prasert Trivijitsilp, M.D. Director, King Mongkut Chaokhunthahan Hospital), and during a ceremony held at King Mongkut Chaokhunthahan Hospital.

The memorandum aims to develop medical innovations that can create a widespread impact, focusing on exploring and creating new opportunities encompassing biotechnology research to the development of a new medical technology hub. The Bangchak Initiative and Innovation Center (BiiC), Bangchak’s innovation hub for developing and supporting technologies that meet future needs, will serve as a platform to connect researchers, investors, and business partners to establish a strong innovation network and drive sustainable change. Moreover, this presents an opportunity to explore new collaborations, including advancing telemedicine technology to enhance comprehensive and modern healthcare accessibility for a broader population, developing artificial intelligence technology for medicine and public health, as well as setting up EV charging stations and Inthanin Coffee, Thailand’s leading eco-friendly coffee brand, at King Mongkut Chaokhunthahan Hospital.
