Bangchak Aids Southern Flood Victims
Mrs. Gloyta Nathalang, Senior Executive Vice President, Sustainability Management and Corporate Communications, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, presented Bangchak fuel cash cards to Rear Admiral Thanyakorn Sennaluk, Director-General of the Royal Thai Navy's Civil Affairs Department. The cards are intended for use in missions assisting flood victims in the southern region. Individuals can contact the Royal Thai Navy Disaster Relief Center (RTN-DRC), which serves as the focal point for aiding those in distress and closely monitors the flooding situation through the 24-hour RTN-DRC hotline at 1696.
Additionally, Bangchak has invited customers who received 1.5-liter bottles of drinking water from refueling at participating Bangchak service stations nationwide to donate the drinking water to flood victims in the South through the "Bangchak and Customers Unite: One Million Bottles for Flood Relief" campaign, which runs from 1 – 31 December 2024, or until the one million bottles are collected. Previously, drinking water had been delivered to various agencies, including the Yala Thai Red Cross Chapter Administration Office, Yala Municipality, the Pattani Thai Red Cross Chapter Administrative Office, Pattani Provincial Administration Organization, the Songkhla Red Cross Chapter Administration, Thepha Hospital, Songkhla Province. Furthermore, fuel cash cards were presented to government agencies, organizations, foundations, and volunteer groups, such as Heart to Heart Rescue.
Bangchak extended support and encouragement to the residents of southern Thailand affected by the floods, including rescue teams and volunteers from various organizations and agencies, wishing them safety and a swift return to normalcy.
