Bangchak Reaffirms Leadership in Sustainability and Innovation Supporting the Federation of Thai Industries’ FTI Expo 2025

On 15 January 2025, Mrs. Gloyta Nathalang, Senior Executive Vice President, Sustainability Management and Corporate Management, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, participated in a press conference for the FTI Expo 2025 under the theme of “Empowering Thai Industry, Elevating Thailand’s Future” at Index Creative Village. Bangchak Corporation has consistently demonstrated its role as a leading organization supporting the initiatives and activities that strengthen the Thai industrial sector, in collaboration with the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI). The press conference was presided over by Mr. Kriengkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of the FTI.

The press conference outlined the preparations for the upcoming FTI Expo 2025, showcasing activities and products under the 4GO Concept: GO Digital & AI, GO Innovation, GO-Global, and GO Green. Bangchak is participating in the exhibition to showcase the potential of Thai industries, reflecting its leadership in sustainability and innovation under the theme “BCG for Climate Action.” The exhibition emphasizes the BCG Model and adaptation to climate change, featuring initiatives such as being the first and only producer of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in Thailand, utilizing a dedicated processing unit through the Hydroprocessing process, certified under ISCC-EU, CORSIA, and PLUS standards. The process uses 100% used cooking oil as feedstock, resulting in a 100% pure Sustainable Aviation Fuel product (Neat SAF). Additionally, the establishment of the Carbon Markets Club aims to raise awareness of the climate crisis and support carbon credit trading, among other initiatives. The FTI Expo 2025 is scheduled to take place from 12 to 15 February 2025 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
