Bangchak Wins Board of the Year Award

Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira, chairman of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, has recently represented the company in receiving the Board of the Year Award from Mr. Krirk-Krai Jirapaet, the chair of the Board of the Year Awards 2018 judging panel, at the award-presentation ceremony. The latest accolade marks the fact that Bangchak has won this prestigious award for seven consecutive years from the category of listed companies with market capitalization ranging between Bt30 billion and Bt100 billion.

“Board of the Year Awards” are national recognition granted to qualified boards of directors for their efficiency in regards to supervision for good corporate governance, generation of returns to shareholders, and care for all groups of stakeholders.

The Thai Institute of Directors has organized Board of Year Awards 2018 ceremony in collaboration with the Stock Exchange of Thailand, the Thai Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Thai Industries, the Thai Bankers Association, the Thai Listed Companies Association, and the Federation of Thai Capital Market Organization as parts of the National Director Conference 2019 at the Plaza Athenee Bangkok.
