Bangchak Joins Hands with MTEC for Circular Waste Economy

Mr. Pativat Tivasasit, senior executive vice president for Refinery Business Group of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, and Mr. Julathep Kajornchaiyakul, executive director of the National Science and Technology Development Agency’s National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), have recently inked a memorandum of R&D cooperation on “Development of Circular Waste Economy Management System for Refinery Business”. Driven by awareness of the need to utilize resources in the most efficient manner, curb waste, and care for the environment, the move aims to provide a new alternative for the country’s sustainable economic development. The signing ceremony has taken place at the Bangchak Refinery’s main convention hall.
