Bangchak and the Ministry of Commerce Selling Vegetables in Inthanin at Discounted Prices

To assists vegetable farmers affected by recent flood and give consumers the opportunity to buy vegetables at discounted prices during the Vegetarian Festival, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited and the Department of Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce is selling fresh vegetables direct from farmers at discounted prices in Inthanin shops. Each half-kilo pack offers has an assortment of vegetables; bok choy and cabbage THB 10 per pack, Chinese cabbage THB 12 per pack, water spinach and kale THB 17 per pack. 5 October, Wattanasak Sur-Iam, Director-General of the Department of Internal Trade, monitored the product-pricing situation during the Vegetarian Festival and held a press conference asking the private sector to sell vegetables at discounted prices to help farmers as part of the campaign from the Department of Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce. Seri Anupantanan, managing director of Bangchak Retail Company Limited, a Bangchak Group company operating Inthanin, joined the event at ICONSIAM.
