Bangchak Sponsors Mahidol Science Communicator Award, Mahidol University

Gloyta Nathalang, Executive Vice President, Corporate Sustainability, Branding, and Communication, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited presented the Mahidol Science Communicator Awards 2021 during the 63rd Anniversary of the establishment of Department of Science at Payathai Campus, Mahidol University. The 4 awards presented include the 2021 Rising Start Science Communicator Award, awarded to the developers of the “This is Biology” and “Mathematics as it should be” Facebook pages, and the 2021 Science Communicator Award to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jessda Denduangboripant and Dr. Tanthai Prasertkul. Bangchak has sponsored the award since 2019, as an organization supporting and driving innovation, to honor and support organizations and individuals promoting science and related fields, and making it accessible and interesting to the general public.

The event also featured the works of professors, students and alumni of the Department of Science in 2021, departmental and international awards for science educator excellence, and the 27th Stang Mongkolsuk Lecture on “Science, Technology, Education, and Public Policy” by former Thai PM, Abhisit Vejjajiva.
