Bangchak receives 2 awards at SET Awards 2021 3rd Consecutive Sustainability Awards of Honor and Best Innovative Company for the Green Innovation “Winnonie”

Chaiwat Kovavisarach, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited received 2 awards at the SET Awards 2021, awarded to outstanding listed companies and asset management companies in various fields, including performance and qualitative operations, organized by the Stock Exchange of Thailand and Money & Banking Magazine, specifically, the Sustainability Excellence, Sustainability Awards of Honor for the 3^rd consecutive year, and the Best Innovative Company from Winnonie, Green Innovation project, an environmentally-friendly EV bike rental platform complemented by a network of battery swapping of stations, conceived from an effort to support internal innovation in Bangchak to provide EV bikes to motorcycle taxi drivers. The project aimed to improve quality of life by reducing purchase interests and costs, and is currently expanding its capacity to meet EV bike interest driven demand, to provide an alternative for daily commuters, aligned with the BCG Economy Model to address environmental issues and effects on global sustainability.

Bangchak has been recognized for Sustainability Excellence for the 5^th consecutive year, and has received the Sustainability Awards of Honor for the 3^rd consecutive year, for its business operations as the Energy Transition Leader according to principles of sustainable development, and the most prestigious honor for a role model sustainable organization.

Previously, Bangchak was included in the Thailand Sustainability Investment (THSI) index since 2015, which features listed companies with sustainable business operations along Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, and provides a Responsible Investment alternative for investors.
