Bangchak Receives the Eco Factory Award from the Federation of Thai Industries

Teerayut Vanichchang, Vice Minister of Industry and Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries, who chaired and presided over the ECO INNOVATION FORUM 2022 presented the Eco Factory Award to Kantamas Krittayanykool, Acting Executive Vice President, Refinery and Logistics Business, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited to acknowledge the operation of Bangchak Refinery in accordance to the Eco Factory standards, which prioritizes the development of the 5 dimension of the industrial sector, namely, physical, economic, social, environmental, and management, evaluated specifically in 14 topics, including Eco-efficiency, aligned with the Eco Industrial Town and Thailand 4.0 policies, which helps to evaluate the Environmental Management System of Life Cycle Perspective towards sustainable development, and the standards established by the Federation of Thai Industries, the Industrial Estates Authority, and the Ministry of Industry. The event was held at BITEC Bangna.

The award is another level of achievement for Bangchak Refinery which develops in harmony with society and the environment, taking into consideration its effects on the environment, as well as community development, and the local economy by considering stakeholder throughout the entire value chain integrated into the corporate culture. The event attracted more than 1,000 participants from the government sector, private sector, academics, and the media.
