Where Green Hearts Meet

When environmental challenges cannot wait and require collaboration from all sectors as much as possible, Bangchak Corporation Plc., as a founding member of the Carbon Markets Club, has been driving and nurturing the 'green-hearted' initiative. The company has joined forces with various partners to carry out the mission for a sustainable world, most recently teaming up with the developer of the ECOLIFE application, Kid Kid Co., Ltd.

Carbon Markets Club marks Second Anniversary and introduced the ECOLIFE Application for Carbon Markets Club members to participate in environmental conservation missions

He continued to share that, as one of the witnesses of the establishment of Carbon Markets Club two years ago, he is eager to help promote the growth of this first greenhouse gas reduction club in Thailand. One way of doing this was by creating opportunities and inviting individuals and organisations interested in environmental conservation to use the ECOLIFE application.

For individuals, the application can be downloaded and used to record the amount of carbon emissions reduced from participating in conservation activities. Users could also accumulate points and exchange them for various rewards. This approach was aimed at attracting more people to adopt environmentally friendly behaviors, making caring for the planet a fun and tangible experience. As for organisational members, they could encourage their employees to collaborate in reducing carbon emissions within the company. This will also foster a sense of teamwork and create a healthy competition with small rewards to make the process engaging and interesting.

"I have been dedicated to the ECOLIFE platform because I genuinely want every Thai individual to have the right to live in a better environment. I believe that everyone should know where they can make a positive impact on the environment and strive to do good. My intention is for ECOLIFE to grow alongside the Thai population, becoming an application that resonates with all. I have started promoting ECOLIFE from schools and universities, and this year, I am determined to extend my efforts to various companies. I aim to encourage employees from various companies to actively participate in internal environmental initiatives together."

In the initial phase, Bangchak and partners has participated as Eco Destinations, including Inthanin coffee shops, EV charging stations, Winnonie electric motorbike battery swapping stations, used beverage collection points, used vegetable oil collection points to produce Sustainable Aviation Fuel, and orphan waste collection points, among others.

This year, ECOLIFE will make every effort to collaborate with various agencies, companies, and organisations.
