Bangchak Officially Gets Carbon Footprint Labels

Mr. Chalermchai Udomranu, senior executive vice president for refinery business unit of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, has represented the company in receiving carbon footprint labels for four of its products from the Mrs. Prasertsuk Patoonsittichai, executive director of the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), at the latter’s office, the Government Complex (Chaengwattana). The labels are officially endorsed after the company’s Carbon Footprint information for its products have passed the verification by the Kasetsart University and then review by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization.

Bangchak has seriously combated global warming, which has affected humans, animals, and the nature, on a continued basis. It has decided to support the use carbon footprint labels for products in the hopes that consumers can make well-informed purchase decisions and that Thai industries will become more competitive on the global stage.
