Bangchak and TSG supports Oxygen Tanks to help COVID-19 patients

Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited and Thai Special Gas Company Limited (TSG) organizes a project to supply 300 7M3 oxygen tanks to hospitals, community isolation centers, various agencies, including volunteer groups, to help COVID-19 patients.

Chaiwat Kovavisarach, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited stated that “the COVID-19 outbreak continues to be severe, therefore Bangchak has continued to launch numerous economic relief projects and assist in control the outbreak by supporting the operation of various public health agencies from the public and private sectors, and volunteers. Each day continues to record high numbers of infections and deaths, with those in critical state requiring ventilators and oxygen in their treatment to prevent the onset of oxygen depletion. Bangchak joins TSG, a partner business, to support oxygen tanks to patients in hospitals and community isolation centers, as well as various volunteer groups, providing assistance to COVID-19 patients.”

Chitchai Singkarin, President and Chief Executive Officer of Thai Special Gas Company Limited stated that “as a provider of high quality industrial gases and one-stop service for all gas-related needs, we are delighted to assist in this effort and hope that our supply of oxygen tanks can relieve the shortage and assist in effective treatment, and as such TSG is providing 300 7M3 tanks to Bangchak and circulated for the aforementioned purpose until the end of the year without any cost. TSG tanks passes the highest safety standards, and can be used immediately.”

The oxygen tanks will be distributed to hospitals, community isolation centers, volunteer groups in the Bangkok Metropolitan area such as hospital and field hospitals, namely Light of Heart Field Hospital, Ban Pong Hospital, Ratchaburi, community waiting centers namely Bang Na Community Isolation Center, Wat Bo Ngoen Community Isolation Center, Pathum Thani, and volunteer groups E Jan, Zendai, Dusit Volunteers, and Ong Korn Tum Dee which assists patients at home, transport, bed procurement, and community isolation centers, etc.
